Copyright and Usage License

Effective Date: July 23, 2026    Last Updated: July 23, 2026

This Copyright and Usage License explains the ownership of content created or distributed by Anchors of Faith and the ways in which that content may and may not be used. It applies to content available through anchorsoffaith.org, authorised email communications, digital products, social media accounts, and other official distribution channels.

By accessing, purchasing, downloading, printing, saving, viewing, listening to, or otherwise using Anchors of Faith content, you agree to follow this Copyright and Usage License.

1. Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all original content created and published by Anchors of Faith is owned by Anchors of Faith or used under an appropriate licence. All rights are reserved, and copyright protection applies whether or not a notice, watermark, or ownership statement appears on the individual item. The purchase, download, or use of content does not transfer copyright or ownership to you — you receive only the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission described in this licence.

2. Content Covered by This Licence

Protected content includes website copy, blog posts, Bible studies, devotionals, ebooks, workbooks, prayer journals, Scripture cards, printable resources, templates, email newsletters, podcast episodes and scripts, video recordings, graphics, photographs, logos, brand names, product names, page layouts, original prayers, reflection questions, teaching frameworks, and other original written, visual, audio, or digital material. The organisation, arrangement, and presentation of content may also be protected even where individual elements are drawn from lawful public or licensed sources.

3. Default Personal-Use Licence

Unless a product page or separate written licence states otherwise, Anchors of Faith content is licensed to one individual for personal, non-commercial use. You may read, view, or listen to the content privately, download purchased or authorised free resources to your personal devices, save reasonable backup copies, print reasonable copies for your own study or reflection, and refer another person to anchorsoffaith.org so they may obtain their own copy. The personal-use licence does not permit you to distribute copies to other people, even when no money is charged.

4. Prohibited Uses

Unless you receive prior written permission, you may not copy or reproduce a substantial part of Anchors of Faith content, sell or commercially distribute it, email files to another person, upload them to a shared drive or file-sharing service, post complete resources on social media, share purchased products in churches or workplaces, remove copyright notices, present the content as your own work, use it to create a competing product, translate or adapt it for public distribution, or include it in a paid course, membership, or service. A lack of commercial profit does not automatically make copying or distribution permissible.

5. Sharing Links and Limited Quotations

You are welcome to share a link to the Anchors of Faith website, a public blog post, product page, or public social media post — please share the official link rather than reposting the content, and never share a private download link, course link, or account link.

You may quote a brief portion of written content for commentary, discussion, or review, provided the quotation is brief and accurate, Anchors of Faith is clearly credited (suggested attribution: “Source: Anchors of Faith, anchorsoffaith.org”), and the quotation does not reveal a substantial or central portion of a paid product. A brief quotation does not include copying a complete devotional, article, prayer, worksheet, or chapter.

6. Scripture Quotations and Social Media Sharing

Biblical texts are subject to the rights and usage terms applicable to their translation; the King James Version is generally used unless another translation is identified, and Anchors of Faith does not claim ownership of Scripture itself — though original commentary, prayers, design, and presentation surrounding a passage remain protected.

You may use native platform sharing features to share an official public post, and may repost a public graphic where the Anchors of Faith name or watermark remains visible, the graphic is not edited, and it is not used to promote a competing product. You may not remove branding, sell the graphic, turn it into merchandise, or build another page or account primarily from Anchors of Faith content.

7. Free Resources and Church/Ministry Use

Free resources remain copyrighted — the word “free” means no purchase price is charged, not that the resource is in the public domain or available for resale or repackaging. Churches, ministries, and Bible study groups may refer to or discuss Anchors of Faith content, and a leader may recommend a resource or display a brief quotation, but the standard personal-use licence does not authorise printing copies for participants, uploading a resource to a church platform, or charging participants for access. Group-use or ministry-use permission may be available upon request.

8. Educational, Professional, and Event Use

Teachers, schools, counsellors, coaches, and event organisers may not distribute Anchors of Faith products under a standard personal licence — permission is required to give copies to students or clients, upload content to a learning-management system, or use resources at retreats, workshops, or conferences. The permission request should identify the event or use, expected number of participants, and intended method of use; institutional, classroom, professional, or event licensing may be available upon request, and a fee may apply.

9. Commercial Use, Translation, and Derivative Works

Commercial use — including use in a product for sale, a paid course, a subscription, or advertising — is prohibited unless Anchors of Faith grants a separate written commercial licence; this applies even where the business, ministry, or event is small, charitable, or not-for-profit. You may not translate Anchors of Faith content for publication or distribution without prior written permission, even where the translation is free or intended for ministry, including translations created using artificial intelligence. You may also not create or distribute an adapted or derivative version of the content, such as rewriting a devotional, converting written content into audio, or combining sections into a new ebook.

10. Audio, Video, and Artificial Intelligence

Written permission is required to record yourself reading a complete Anchors of Faith resource, convert a written resource into an audiobook, repost a full podcast or video episode, or use podcast or video content in another production — you may share official public episode links and use brief excerpts for genuine commentary with clear attribution.

Unless prior written permission is granted, content may not be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate an artificial intelligence model, build a dataset, populate a chatbot, or generate competing devotionals, journals, or products. Limited private use of an AI tool for accessibility or personal study may be acceptable only where the content remains private, is not used for model training, and is not published or distributed — where these conditions cannot be confirmed, you should not upload the content.

11. Automated Access, Branding, and Third-Party Materials

You may not use automated tools to scrape, harvest, mirror, or bulk-download substantial Anchors of Faith content without written permission; ordinary indexing by legitimate public search engines may be permitted subject to website settings. Names, logos, product titles, and visual identities used by Anchors of Faith may be protected by trademark law — you may not use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership, or as a business, product, or channel name. Some content may include material owned by third parties (Bible translations, photographs, music, fonts) that remains subject to the rights of its respective owners; Anchors of Faith cannot grant you rights that it does not own.

12. User-Created Responses and Permission Requests

Where a workbook or journal invites you to write personal responses, your original answers, prayers, and reflections belong to you — but the underlying questions, prompts, layout, and teaching framework remain owned by Anchors of Faith, and your completed copy may not be duplicated and distributed as a replacement for the original product.

To request permission for use beyond the standard personal licence, contact Anchors of Faith before using the content, describing the content requested, intended use, audience size, and whether the activity is free, paid, or commercial. Submitting a request does not grant permission — permission is valid only when confirmed in writing by an authorised representative, and we may approve, decline, limit, or charge a fee for the requested use.

13. Group and Commercial Licences

Anchors of Faith may offer small-group, church, ministry, classroom, institutional, professional-use, event, translation, or commercial licences, each specifying the number of authorised users, period of use, permitted formats, and any applicable fees. A licence applies only to the product, organisation, purpose, and period stated in the written permission and may not be transferred, assigned, or sublicensed to another person or organisation.

14. Reporting Infringement and Consequences of Unauthorised Use

If you believe Anchors of Faith content has been copied, distributed, or used without permission, please contact us with a description of the protected content, the location of the suspected infringement, and any relevant links or screenshots. If you believe content published by Anchors of Faith infringes your own copyright, please provide your contact information, identification of the protected work, and a statement explaining the basis of your claim.

Where unauthorised use is identified, Anchors of Faith may contact the responsible party, require content removal, revoke access or licence rights, disable download links, suspend future purchases, request licensing fees or compensation, or pursue other legal remedies. A failure to act immediately does not waive our rights, and your permission to use our content ends automatically if you violate this licence.

15. Fair Dealing, Governing Law, and Contact Us

Nothing in this licence is intended to remove a use that is expressly permitted by applicable law and cannot lawfully be restricted by contract; because legal exceptions vary and are fact-specific, the safest approach is to request permission where a proposed use is substantial, public, recurring, or commercial. This Copyright and Usage License is governed by the laws of the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Digital Product Policy.

Questions about copyright, licensing, translations, or suspected infringement may be submitted through the Contact page or the details below. Please include “Copyright or Licence Request” in the subject line when contacting us by email.
